A plasma-diagnostics instrument based on the quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) technique, measuring real-time deposition rate and the ionization fraction of the deposition flux. Uses magnetic shielding to block plasma electron interference without blocking ions or neutrals, helping optimise and stabilise ionized physical vapor deposition (IPVD) processes.
